Steven M. Novak graduated cum laude from the John Marshall Law School, where he served as a staff editor for The John Marshall Law Review. Steven M. Novak also received three CALI Awards from John Marshall in the areas of Property, Civil Procedure, and Evidence. Before attending law school, Steven M. Novak graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana – Champaign in 2007, earning a Bachelor of Arts in History.
Upon graduating from law school, Steven M. Novak served as a supervising staff attorney at the John Marshall Veterans Legal Support Center & Clinic. During his time at the Clinic, Steven M. Novak managed the Veterans Benefits division, which focused on assisting veterans in appealing the denial of their benefits. On behalf of veterans or their family members, Steven M. Novak drafted numerous appellate briefs and co-authored two amicus briefs to the United States Supreme Court dealing with veteran’s law issues.
In addition to addressing Estate & Trust Litigation legal needs, he also assists clients with Estate Planning & Probate issues.
